Fight together with your friends against the forces of Chaos and Skaven in this epic 4-player co-op game set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world. It’s took what was so good about the first game and improved it whilst also adding even more features and when everything is said and done I can’t recommend this game enough because its very close perfect in it's genre.Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide. At the end of the day as far as sequels are concerned Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is up there with the very best. The presentation side of the game is definitely better in this game over the original and without a doubt both the visuals and sound design have had a tremendous amount of effort placed into them which of course makes things even more immersive. It also features a story for you to follow along the way and the best thing is that this story will keep you invested throughout your time with the game. This of course then makes the game’s replaybility very high and you won’t be getting bored anytime soon because the game also features plenty of customisation and loot for you to get to grips with. Without a doubt playing the game with friends is the best way to enjoy this game because the action remains thrilling and tense throughout and the teamwork aspect keeps things from going dull. Despite the game’s high difficulty curve I didn’t find myself getting frustrated that much and I think that was mainly down to the game’s co-op elements.
I even enjoyed the challenge when it came to the bosses as well even though fighting the bosses seemed to go on forever. Be prepared though because some of these missions can be really difficult to complete, but even though the game can be very difficult at times I definitely did relish the challenge. Variety is dotted throughout the gameplay in Vermintide 2 and that’s especially the case when it comes to the game’s fantastic and diverse missions. One of my very few gripes about the original was that I thought it was lacking a little in terms of variety, but that definitely isn’t the case here. Everything you do in combat feels like it matters and the best thing is that everything you do when in combat packs a punch and feels very satisfying at all times. The combat in the first game was absolutely brilliant, but it’s even better in this game. To my amazement then I was shocked that Warhammer: Vermintinde 2 is better in pretty much all areas and the reason I’m amazed because I didn’t think it was possible to improve over the original so much because the original didn’t get much wrong at all. The first Warhammer game was absolutely brilliant in my opinion and every time I revisited the game I always felt that it delivered a The first Warhammer game was absolutely brilliant in my opinion and every time I revisited the game I always felt that it delivered a rewarding experience to me.
